After India and china, South Africa has the potential to become the next big  economic power  based on its vast mineral riches  including also  the gas exploration potential. Increasingly  china  and India   are already exploiting this potential by importing more  iron ore and  other commodities with Africa   and also exporting products to this country for their mutual benefit.

Both stock markets of china and India have steadily grown in the past few years . But data from 2008 say that the Indian bourses are much better in many ways. There are just 893 companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, compared to 4,909 companies listed on the BSE and more than 2,500 stocks traded every day.

Botswana Stock Exchange – ( Botswana)

The Botswana Stock Exchange is Botswana’s national stock exchange given the responsibility to operate and regulate the equities and fixed interest securities market. Formally established in 1989, the BSE continues to be pivotal to Botswana’s financial system

Nairobo Stock Exchange – ( Kenya)

In 1954 the Nairobi Stock Exchange was then constituted as a voluntary association of stockbrokers registered under the Societies Act. 1988 saw the first privatization through the NSE,of the successful sale of a 20% government stake in Kenya Commercial Bank. The sale left the Government of Kenya and affiliated institutions retaining 80% ownership of the bank.

Johannesburg Stock Exchange – ( South Africa)

The JSE Ltd (“JSE”) is licensed as an exchange under the Securities Services Act, 2004 and Africa’s premier exchange.  The JSE has evolved from a traditional floor based equities trading market to a modern securities exchange providing fully electronic trading, clearing and settlement in equities, financial and agricultural derivatives and other associated instruments and has extensive surveillance capabilities

According to the International Monetary Fund’s recent prediction, Africa’s growth rate should become more than Asia’s within the next five years. As per a a recent survey,  Among the 12 fastest growing economies in the world, almost half are from Africa with Ghana clocking the highest growth rate among all the 12 countries on the list.

    1. best is to research the market buddy .check top finance stories and investment websites and do your own thing .. if you succeed you have it ..if you dont time to try something else
